Any nominees who are shortlisted will be informed by email in the week commencing 7th September 2026 and invited to attend a "Meet the Judges" afternoon. The event for Calderdale nominees will be on the X of X and a session for Kirklees nominees will be held on the X of X.

Every finalist will receive one ticket to the event, plus an extra ticket for a guest of their choice. Refer to frequently asked questions page for more ticket information.

Consent
Information provided may be used by KirCCA for the purposes of the awards, including sharing with finalists, judges, and other award-related communications. This may include use in publicity materials, event programmes, or other content related to the awards, and that personal data will be handled in accordance with relevant data protection regulations.

General Rules
Nominees must work for a care provider within an independent, private or VCSE Adult Social Care setting in Kirklees or Calderdale
Nominations will only be accepted via the online nomination system.
Entries cannot be amended after the submission deadline.
Each category will be judged blind (by an independent panel of judges) all identifiable names etc are removed from entries so they are completely anonymous.
The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
All finalists should be available to attend the award ceremony.

Entries will be judged on quality rather than quantity, so please read the guidance for each category and try and give good reasons and examples to answer each question. One well thought out detailed entry tells the judges far more than 10 vague entries with a single sentence in each box.
