Kirklees and Calderdale Care Association is a not for profit organisation working as the recognised representative body providing one single strong voice and support network for independent, private and VCSE adult social care providers across Kirklees and Calderdale.
Our members include care/nursing homes, homecare agencies and supported living providers looking after residents across Kirklees and Calderdale.
We focus on fostering collaborative, professional relationships with key partners.We take part in positive and productive conversations with stakeholders to help inform and influence care sector decision makers.
We aim to support and encourage care providers to share and develop best practice, offering additional training and development opportunities.We work together towards an improved social care and health experience for every person who accesses services or works in the care sector.
What Are Our Objectives?
To ensure residents of Kirklees and Calderdale receive high quality care from well trained, knowledgeable staff who feel valued and love what they do.
To develop and maintain the membership of Kirklees and Calderdale Care Association, representing our members as one single, strong voice of the independent adult social care sector in Kirklees and Calderdale.
To be a strategic partner, liaising regularly with Kirklees Council, ICS, ICB, Regional and National Care Associations to influence care sector decisions.
